My roommate Edu gave me a call this morning. He wanted to thank me! Yes, I was surprised because I had no clue what he was talking about. He replied with a chuckle and said he was thankful to me for introducing him to Remit2Home. He told me how easy it was now for him to send money on a regular basis to his folks back in Batangas. I was overwhelmed because Edu is a very nice chap and has a big family which is totally dependent on him, financially and otherwise. So to help him is a pleasure. I was curious to know why he took the trouble of calling me up when I am out of town, to this he replied with a grin and said that he could do it because he got a 50 mins calling card free from Remit2Home. I was surprised myself because despite being a regular Remit2Home customer I had missed out on this great scheme! I teased him and told him to call his family first. After he kept the phone down I checked my inbox and saw the promotional message that I received from Remit2Home. I decided to make most of it and called up friends and family members. It was indeed a great surprise.
